Mini Muffin Making Machine

My beautiful sister is pregnant, as many of you know. For her baby shower we decided to do a tea of sorts. I somehow became the person responsible to make all the mini muffins.

The set-up for making the mini tartlettes.
I probably made 200 tartlette pastries.
Here is one bowl of them.

Next, I made a whole bunch of mini cheesecakes.

This is how part of the spread came
out.

Here are my lemon tartlettes, chocolate mousse tartlettes, and mini cheesecakes.

I also made tons of mini muffins, but somehow, got no pictures of that anywhere in the process. I guess you'll just have to take my word on that one.

At the end of the day, I threw away TONS of mini tartlettes, cheesecakes, and muffins. Se La Vi. The mama felt loved.

My step-mom, Heidi, niece, Jenica, little-big sister, Amber and myself.

The Cleanse

I'm so close to the end I can almost taste it. I have been doing it for just over two weeks now, and my last day is Sunday (just in time before I get to see island girl's smiling face). The acupuncturist said I was just gong to feel so good that I wouldn't want to go back to the way I used to eat. I admit I have cheated a few days, but I don't feel better. I don't think she understood how healthy I ate before I started this craziness. I have lost a few pounds though, not as much as I thought I would. I think my fat loves me to much.

Pasta

I have always wanted to learn how to make homemade pasta, and guess what, I finally did. It was surprisingly easy too. Just flour and eggs. Now, I really want a pasta rolling machine (the hand cranked kind). At $100 dollars it is not quite in my unemployed budget, but I will get one, eventually, that is...

Cravings...

So, I am not pregnant, first of all. I am the type of person that craves the same thing for weeks and weeks and then, I don't eat it for a year. Right now I am craving peanut butter. I love it. I have a jar of it on my desk and a spoon and I just eat it with a spoon. Sooo gooood. With Thanksgiving coming up I am also craving cranberry sauce. Specifically jellied cranberry sauce. I could open a can and eat the whole thing in one sitting all by itself. Last week when Steve and I were at the grocery store he was messing around with me asking if I had everything, only he was asking me if I had crazy and absurd things that we never eat. He asked if I had jellied cranberry sauce and when I told him I threw a couple cans in the cart he just looked at me. Stunned? Appalled? I just don't know. Either way jellied cranberry sauce is still fabulous in my book.
